| Meaning "The Peace",
the commercial and state capital
of Baja California Sur. La Paz
is a large, old port city with
nearly 200,000 population. La
Paz is located at the NorthEastern
tip of the Los Cabos area, only
2 hours North of Cabo San Lucas,
and an hour north of Todos Santos. |

of my Bay." La Paz
is famous for the Bay of
Laz (Bahía de La
Paz), the largest bay along
Baja's Eastern coastline
along the Bay of California
or the Sea of Cortez. |

beautiful boardwalk along the
beach downtown is a great place
to take a stroll. La Paz offers
a wide assortment of shopping,
and plenty of restaurants and
hotels. In La Paz you will find
beautiful, warm, calm beaches
both downtown and outside of town
(along the Bay of La Paz), world
class scuba diving and sport fishing. |

Paz is an easy and pleasant drive
from the Southern part of Los Cabos.
Only a two hour drive from Cabo San
Lucas on Hwy 19, passing through the
halfway point, the town of Todos Santos.
La Paz is a great little city, offering
everything a city of this size should
have, but with a small, agreeable,
old town feeling. |
