| 286 guestrooms in two sections. The Finisterra Section is the resort’s original building from 1971, and consists of low-rise buildings (without elevators) built into a rock cliff. The 4–9-story Palapa Beach Club tower has a contemporary design and is closer to the beach. Waterfalls cascade over the rock cliff between the two sections. An enclosed walkway from the tower's seventh floor connects the sections. |

| The Blue Marlin - Air-conditioned restaurant located atop cliff in resort's original section featuring stained-glass window panels, glass ceiling sculptures, mounted 1,200-pound Blue Marlin. Rock waterfall outside. Buffet and à la carte breakfasts. Dinner menu with choices such as steaks, lamb shanks, roasted duck with Grand Marnier sauce, shrimp with garlic-tequila sauce, grilled salmon with ginger-honey glaze. Thursday-night Italian buffet, Friday-night Mexican buffet, Saturday-night grill buffet.
La Palapa - Casual, beachfront, open-air restaurant under towering thatched-roof. Swim-up bar. Sports on TVs. Bar service early morning to late evening. Food service mid-morning to early evening. Appetizers, ceviche, salads, sandwiches, burgers, fajitas, tacos, burritos.
Whale Watcher Bar - Cliff top, air-conditioned bar/lounge with terrace offering panoramic ocean views. Wood-burning fireplace within curved wall covered with hammered copper.
